The SM Compak Shipper is a unique product that includes a Corstat Front Lock Mailer, along with a static dissipative plastic thermoformed insert. The Corstat mailer provides shielding and Faraday Cage Protection. The static dissipative insert features an ESD safe foam pedestal with dissipative adhesive that can pick up the part without touching it. The thermoformed plastic insert, foam and adhesive are static dissipative to prevent any charge from being generated.

How does the SM Compak Shipper work?
1) The dissipative adhesive on the foam attached to the lid allows the part to be picked up without touching the operator’s hands.
2) Place the lid into the bottom tray, the part will sit on the pedestal allowing the leads to be suspended.
3) Close the Corstat mailer to provide shielding protection

You can release the component safely by squeezing the dissipative plastic insert. These surface mount shippers are available in 4 stock sizes that hold a single device, 2, 4 or 10 devices. One package protects many sizes.
