Description
A roomy saddle-shaped seat and ergonomic mesh backrest with tilt and height adjustments offer greater comfort and performance with this Embark Series chair. This model also features a polished cast aluminum base. Designed for industrial and office use, for desktops and benches 29" to 34" high.
The heavy-duty breathable mesh back of the Embark Series offers a flexible, comfortable and airy seating solution that’s welcome in hot industrial environments, dispatch centers, factories, office settings, plants, refineries, mills and more.
This Embark model features a generously proportioned contoured saddle-shaped seat with a waterfall front measuring 21" wide x 19" deep x 3" thick, and a woven black mesh backrest with recycled nylon frame measuring 16.375" wide x 16" high. Control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3.5° rearward while the backrest adjusts 8° forward and 13° rearward. It includes a five-legged, solid cast aluminum base with caster-to-caster diameter of 25.6" and maximum width of 24.4". T-cross-section legs ensure easy cleanability and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50mm tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of UNI EN 46100 aluminum with a robotically polished top surface to ensure quality and consistency. Dual soft wheels, non-marring polyurethane casters resist movement when the chair is unoccupied.
Upholstered in Grade 2 black vinyl. Metal parts are black powder coat.
