Description
This bench-height Embark Series chair features a mid-sized adjustable seat upholstered in impactful Grade 2 polygon-patterned black and red vinyl, height-adjustable arms, a breathable back engineered for all-day comfort, an adjustable footring and a polished aluminum base. It's designed for use at benches 31” to 38” high in a variety of industrial workspaces, as well as task and healthcare applications.
This Embark model features a concave upholstered seat with internal seat board bumperguard measuring 18.5" wide x 16.5" deep x 3" thick and a woven black mesh backrest with recycled nylon frame measuring 16.375" wide x 16" high. Control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3.5° rearward while the backrest adjusts 8° forward and 13° rearward. It includes a five-legged composite base with caster-to-caster diameter of 25.6" and maximum width of 24.4". T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50mm, steel-reinforced, tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of glass-filled nylon. Includes adjustable arms and dual-wheel casters that resist movement when the chair is unoccupied.
Upholstered in Grade 2 black vinyl. Metal parts are black powder coat.
