This Amherst Series model combines a large saddle-shaped seat and backrest with executive-style ergonomic functionality and height- and width-adjustable arms for enhanced user comfort. Designed for desktops and benches from 29” to 34” high.
Amherst Series seating is engineered for use in technical workspaces in a variety of industries.
This chair is designed for use at 29" to 34" desktop and worksurface heights. Features include a generously proportioned, saddle-shaped contoured seat with waterfall front and internal seat board bumperguard, a roomy backrest with lumbar support and plastic protective panel, height- and width-adjustable arms, and an executive-style control with pneumatic seat-height adjustments from 17" to 22", backrest-height adjustment, seat and backrest unison swivel tilt, tilt-tension control knob and single-lever seat-tilt lock. The seat and back are covered with Grade 2 Galaxy cloth upholstery. The chair rests on a 25.6” diameter reinforced composite base with dual-wheel, non-marring polyurethane casters that resist movement when the chair is unoccupied. Metal parts have a black powder-coat finish.
Complies with product safety and performance standards guidelines as established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (BIFMA). Meets CAL 117 fire retardant standards. LEED® compliant.
