Description
The Gordon Brush 15HHL is an Extra Long Handle 3-row "scratch" or "toothbrush" style brush made of rugged and static-neutral plywood. The horse hair bristle, hand-laced with stainless steel wire, remains secure even in wet environments if the wood handle expands or contracts. Hand-laced brushes are the premium brushes in the industry. Each fill tuft is tied into position by hand, resulting in a superior quality brush with maximum fiber retention. Greater bristle density than staple set brushes.
Horse Hair has a soft to slightly stiff texture, gives scratch-free dry cleaning and has very good durability. Horse hair is highly absorbent which allows it to carry liquids (water, ink, paint) very well. Not resistant to acids or alkalis, it is used for buffing, cleaning, dusting and finishing. Its heat distortion temperature is 370F.
