Kapton™ Tape is a transparent amber colored polyimide film with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive system. It is used for flame resistant electrical insulation, wire and cable wrap, wire bundling termination, splicing of hi-temp reflective thermal insulating film and is an excellent solder mask for circuit boards.
